Eshaan Patheria

Eshaan is a senior in Adams House concentrating in Chemistry and Physics. He lived in Dublin, Ireland for the first half of his life and lived in Mumbai, India for the next half before coming to the United States. Outside of EWB, Eshaan works in the Kim Group at Harvard University researching two-dimensional materials.

Victor Yang

Victor Yang is sophomore living in Leverett House. He is concentrating in computer science with a secondary in psychology and a citation in Spanish. He is from Boston and enjoys spending his free time running, playing the piano, and laughing. He also loves to travel, do crazy things, and sleep.

Mckenna Roberts

McKenna Roberts is a junior from Northern Michigan concentrating in Biomedical Engineering. She was drawn to EWB because she wanted to integrate her interests in global health and engineering and has grown to love the chapter's amazing members and projects! She currently lives in Quincy House (the best house), and when she is not working on EWB, she enjoys directing HMUN committees, and cooking celebratory snacks for the chapter!

Santiago Vargas

Santiago is a Junior from Colombia living in Mather House. He's concentrating in Chemistry and Physics and grew up in Boston. Outside of EWB he enjoys IM soccer, powerlifting, and volunteering with Harvard's Chinatown After school program.

Daniel Gatega

Daniel is a junior at the University studying electrical engineering. He is currently interested in circuit design and fabrication of electronic devices as far as his career ambitions go. He spends his extra time working with the Mkutani team members on projects that will enrich the life of the children at the Mkutani Primary School in Dodoma Tanzania. He is grateful that having been brought up in Kenya, his knowledge of Swahili was a great resource on the last implementation Trip.

Nicole Trenchard

Nicole is a junior living in Adams House. She is pursuing a S.B in Mechanical Engineering at the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She is passionate about sustainability and design, and is thrilled to be a Project Co-Lead for the Mkutani Schoolhouse Project. Outside of EWB, she is a scoring member of the Harvard Varsity Track and Field Team.

Tomo Hasegawa

Tomo is a senior in Mather House, from Tokyo, Japan, concentrating in Computer Science with a secondary in Economics. Outside of EWB, Tomo has enjoyed working on engineering projects at (by Facebook) and at Microsoft. On campus, he serves as a board member of the Harvard Japan Society, and he formerly competed on the varsity track team.

Robert Anderson

Robert is a Senior in Adams House where he is pursuing an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering at the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is an accomplished engineering student and John Harvard Scholar, was the recipient of the Detur Book Prize for high academic standing, and earned a Harvard Certificate of Distinction in Teaching in 2016.


Vivian Fernandez

Director of Fundraising

Vivian Fernandez is a senior from NYC living in Winthrop house. She is a Government concentrator with a secondary in Latino Studies and a language citation in Spanish. Vivian traveled with the EWB Los Sanchez team in August 2016 as a translator and then, wanting to continue her involvement with the chapter, developed the Fundraising Committee as the Fundraising Director. In her free time, she enjoys attending zumba class, kickboxing, reading books and listening to music.

Billy Koech

Director of Media

Billy Koech is a sophomore in Leverett House, from Eldoret, Kenya. His concentration is Electrical Engineering with a secondary in Computer Science. He loves spending his free time taking pictures. His favorite pastimes include sketching and designing technological devices.

Alan Bidart

Director of Human Resources

Alan Bidart is a senior at Harvard from Argentina living in Mather House pursuing a joint concentration in Computer Science and Mathematics. However, his dream career is to be a rockstar. He can usually be found practicing guitar at the headquarters of the Harvard School of Rock, located in his beloved Mather. He loves live music, animals and taking his time to enjoy his meals.

Tyler Moulton

Director of Grants

Tyler Moulton is a sophomore from suburban Massachusetts living in Mather House. He is considering concentrating in either Economics, Social Studies, or Studies of Women, Gender and Sexuality. He is fascinated by feminist, gender, and queer studies as well as studies of socioeconomic analysis and development, the latter of which fuels his passion for public service and his excitement to be a part of the Mkutani Schoolhouse Project!

Sarah Welsh

Sarah Welsh is a junior living in Pforzheimer House concentrating in Environmental Engineering. She is from Bellingham, Washington. She enjoys backpacking, hiking, canoeing, and playing music. She is excited to learn more about engineering and international development through her work with EWB.

Lyra Wanzer


Lyra is a junior from Vermont living in Eliot House. She is concentrating in Mechanical Engineering and has been involved in EWB since her freshman year, when she joined the Los Sanchez project team. In her free time, enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, skiing, hiking, and any other outdoor activities. She also loves baking and knitting.
